Supplement with a Homeschool Math Worksheet

Consider using a homeschool math worksheet when you need to have additional homeschool material or something different than what your homeschool curriculum offers.

Our Experience with Home School Worksheets

There are many kinds of home school worksheets to choose from. These additional practice pages work well when we need to:

  • supplement and enrich our homeschool lessons with added material
  • introduce a new concept before completing practice pages in the workbook
  • give a child who completed their workbook pages some extra practice material
  • supplemental review material
  • assess and evaluate skills before moving on to new concepts

But, the best home school worksheets will always be the ones that your children enjoy! Traditional, mainstream math curriculum, such as Abeka or Horizons, can be fun when it is presented well.

Below, are some of the math home school worksheets that I have created for our home school lessons. Check back regularly as I will be adding to this list often.

I hope you find what you need or please contact me with any specific needs. I will be happy to help you out.

Free Homeschool Worksheets to Teach the Numbers

0-99 Number Chart

I created this visual aid to show the relationship of the "number families." You can also use it to teach counting up through 99 and skip counting numbers by 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s, etc. I ask my children to circle or shade in the numbers that we are counting by.

Home School Worksheets for Number Practice

Number Tracing

Large Numbers 0-5

Large Numbers 6-10

Use the above homeschool worksheets to give extra practice in forming the numbers from 0-10. Also, use tracing sheets to practice writing the number words.

As you use these printable sheets you might even be encouraged to make some of your own. If you do, please let me know about it. Thanks!
